Management Plan

The Gullah/Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor (the Corridor) was designated by the
Gullah/Geechee Cultural Heritage Act, passed by Congress on October 12, 2006 (Public Law 109-
338). The local coordinating entity legally responsible for the management of the Corridor is a federal
commission established by Congress and titled the Gullah/Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor
Commission (the Commission).
